ABOUT
Liz Godwin is an Atlanta based interior designer who was drawn to beautiful homes and decorative arts at an early age, growing up with parents also in the industry. While an Art History major at Davidson College, she interned for Sotheby's Auction House in New York, the Red Fox Fine Art Gallery in Virginia and studied Art and Architecture in Italy for a semester. After college, she lived in London and completed a Decorative Arts Course at Sotheby's. Liz's love of the interior design world was sparked during an internship withAtlanta design legend Dan Carithers, and then she went on to learn the intricacies of the business working for Jackye Lanham for 14 years before starting Elizabeth Godwin Interiors. Liz prides herself on being able to juxtapose valuable antiques with contemporary items to create an interesting and family friendly living space as suitable for today as it will be for years to come.
Liz lives in Buckhead with her husband, two young boys and three dogs.
